Beetested is a Madrid-based company that builds AI tools for analysing how people react emotionally to games and other products. Its engine, Beemotion, uses affective computing to read facial expressions, voice, speech and gestures, and links the emotions it detects to in-game events in real time. The company began as a crowd-testing platform that gives video game developers and publishers instant player feedback, and it also serves marketing and brand agencies, product research firms, universities and innovation teams. It was founded in 2022 by Yulia Trubitsyna and Juan Palacios. In December 2022 it raised a €150,000 pre-seed round led by Demium Capital, and it has also received innovation funding from CDTI.
