Cultiply is an industrial biotechnology company that develops and scales up fermentation processes for companies in the food, agriculture, biopharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. It offers an end-to-end bioprocess development platform, from early concept through to industrial scale, using bioreactors that act as intelligent systems for multiplying yeast and bacteria. Its work covers applications such as fertilisers and biostimulants, probiotics, recombinant proteins and food ingredients, and it aims to cut its clients' production costs and make their fermentation safer. Javier Viña and Sergio Romero founded the company in 2020 in La Rinconada (Seville). It received an ENISA participatory loan at launch and has won Spain's National Young Entrepreneurs Award and the Emprendemos Sevilla 2021 prize.
