Malferida

Malferida is a Valencia-based beverage company that produces and sells a sugar-free cola made with natural ingredients, including kola nut for natural caffeine and stevia as a sweetener, and markets it as "the cola without secrets". The brand draws on the local legend that the original cola recipe came from Aielo de Malferit in Valencia province. It sells through more than 500 hospitality (horeca) outlets in Valencia, Castellón, Alicante, Murcia, Barcelona and Madrid, and directly online. Founded in 2018 by Lucía Mompó through Juan Roig's accelerator Lanzadera, the company closed a pre-seed round of about €100,000 on Startupxplore in November 2021, with more than 48 investors taking part.
