AAragon
Aragon builds open-source infrastructure for launching and governing onchain organisations (DAOs) on Ethereum and other EVM networks. Its main product is Aragon OSx, a modular smart-contract framework for DAOs, together with governance apps and custom integration work for protocols. Projects such as Lido, Curve, Polygon and Taiko have used its tooling, and Aragon-based organisations have secured more than $35 billion in assets. Luis Cuende and Jorge Izquierdo founded Aragon in 2016, with early backing from Tim Draper. In 2017 it raised about $25 million in a token sale of its ANT token, run through the Swiss non-profit Aragon Association. The Association announced its dissolution in late 2023, and development of the protocol continues under the Aragon brand.
