VValy Cosmetics
Valy Cosmetics is a Barcelona-based functional cosmetics company that makes body-care patches using iontophoresis, a technique that emits micro-impulses to help active ingredients penetrate the skin. Its range includes reducing patches for localised fat and cellulite, firming patches and hair-strengthening patches, sold online and through pharmacies. The company was founded in 2018 by Jordi Ripolles together with AtresmediaHubFactory, a joint venture between Atresmedia and Antai Venture Builder, and it launched in 2019. It reached about €2 million in revenue within 18 months, with sales in Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, France and Italy, and it later expanded into the United Arab Emirates. In October 2020 it closed a €600,000 venture debt round with Sabadell Venture Capital. In April 2023 its operating company, Skin Digital Ventures, entered insolvency proceedings in Barcelona.
