Global Founders Capital is the Berlin-based venture capital arm of Rocket Internet, founded in 2013 by Oliver Samwer. It invests globally and across sectors, backing founders mainly at seed and early stage and following on from Series A onwards. It previously managed two $1B funds, both now fully deployed, and since 2024 it has invested from Rocket Internet's balance sheet, with about €300M set aside for venture investments. Its portfolio of more than 600 companies includes Revolut, Canva, Slack, Personio, SumUp, Deel, Brex, Delivery Hero, HelloFresh, Eventbrite and Ankorstore.
