FFirstech Ventures
Firstech Ventures is a Barcelona-based early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2024 by Patricio Hunt, founder of Intelectium, and Urs Rothmayr, general partner of Core Angels Barcelona. Its vehicle, ALX Firstech Ventures FCRE, is registered with the CNMV and managed by Alaluz Capital. It was launched in December 2024 with a €20M target. The fund backs European start-ups building B2B SaaS in enterprise software, fintech, cybersecurity and insurtech, as well as transformative technologies such as AI, machine learning, blockchain and IoT. It helps portfolio companies set up early operations in the United States and raise money from US investors.
