CDP Venture Capital is a Rome-based venture capital asset manager owned by the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti group. It is Italy's largest venture capital manager, with about €4.9B under management across 15 direct and indirect funds. It backs Italian start-ups and innovative SMEs from tech transfer and seed stage through growth, both directly and through funds-of-funds such as VenturItaly. Its main sectors are artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, space tech, clean tech, infratech and mobility, healthcare and life sciences, fintech and insurtech. Its portfolio of more than 200 companies includes Arduino, D-Orbit and Empatica.
