Social Nest Foundation is a Valencia-based non-profit foundation and impact-economy platform, founded in 2010 by Margarita Albors, that supports start-ups creating social and environmental impact. It runs acceleration and investment-readiness programmes such as Raise for Impact, which prepares founders for their first outside funding round, and Scale the Impact, run with Danone. It also runs corporate innovation programmes and works on building the impact-investing ecosystem by connecting institutional and private investors, financial advisers and philanthropists with impact start-ups. It organises The Gap in Between, an international event on impact innovation, and belongs to networks including GIIN, Impact Europe, Toniic and LatImpacto.
