Vento
Vento is a Turin-based early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2022 by the team behind Italian Tech Week, and it is fully funded by Exor. It is sector-agnostic and backs pre-seed and seed start-ups with at least one Italian founder, wherever the company is based. It typically invests €150,000 upfront, with follow-on funding of up to €1M. In 2025 it launched a €75M second fund, to be deployed over five years. It has backed about 100 start-ups, including Bee, JetHR and Qomodo, and it also runs the Reef by Vento venture-building programme and the Wave by Vento founder event.
