PPlay Ventures
Play Ventures is a Singapore-based venture capital firm, founded in 2018 by games entrepreneurs and with an office in Helsinki. It invests globally in games, consumer apps built on game mechanics ('playable apps') and the B2B infrastructure behind them, including adtech, payments and AI tools. It backs companies from pre-seed to Series A, often before they have a product, with first cheques of about $0.25–2M. Its $140M Fund III closed in November 2024 and brought total assets under management to $450M, following a $135M Fund II; portfolio companies include Reworks (acquired by Playtika), mod.io, Mobile Premier League, Mainframe Industries and Bigger Games.
