TTech Transfer UPV
Tech Transfer UPV is a Valencia-based venture capital fund (FCR) that invests in technology-transfer start-ups and spin-offs coming out of the Universitat Politècnica de València ecosystem. Launched in 2016 as the first technology-transfer fund promoted by a Spanish public university, it is backed by the UPV Social Council and managed by Clave Capital (formerly Clave Mayor), with around 28 Valencian business people and professionals as investors. The fund closed at €3.9M and takes minority stakes in early-stage deep-tech, health and engineering companies, with tickets of up to about €500K. Its portfolio has included Quibim, AEROX Advanced Polymers, Advanced Wave Sensors (AWSensors), Kerionics, Tesoro Imaging and Endurance Motive; it largely exited Endurance Motive in 2021 after that company listed on BME Growth.
