Valencia-based (Paterna) manufacturer of solid oxide electrolysers (SOEC) for industrial green hydrogen production, spun off in 2014 from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and CSIC's Institute of Chemical Technology (ITQ). Targets hard-to-abate industrial sectors (steel, petrochemicals, cement, ceramics, paper) with electrolysers claimed to be ~30% more efficient than Alkaline/PEM technology. Building a €38M automated electrolyser production line (Zerohgreen project), backed partly by NextGenerationEU funds, targeting production in 2028-2029.
