Grupo Godó is a Barcelona-based multimedia group, publisher of La Vanguardia and Mundo Deportivo and owner of the radio station RAC1. The newspaper business dates back to 1881, and the family reorganised it as a multimedia holding in 1998. The group invests in start-ups as a corporate investor through the New Business department of its digital area, known as Godó Ventures. It backs mainly B2C digital companies from seed to growth stage, usually co-investing with tickets of about €25,000–250,000 and sometimes paying in media-for-equity. Its portfolio includes Glovo, Wallapop, CornerJob, Deliberry, Housfy, Cuideo, Carnovo, Chicplace, eShop Ventures and RocketROI. In 2025 it acquired a 75% stake in the extended-reality studio Layers of Reality.
