MMobile World Capital Barcelona
Mobile World Capital Barcelona is a Barcelona-based public-private foundation that promotes digital transformation and technology-driven innovation, building on the legacy of the Mobile World Congress. Its board of trustees includes Barcelona City Council, the Government of Catalonia, the Spanish government, Fira de Barcelona, GSMA, Telefónica, Vodafone, Orange, Damm and CaixaBank. Through The Collider, its tech-transfer and venture-builder programme, it turns research from universities and research centres into deep-tech spin-offs in areas such as cleantech and sustainability, digital health, drug discovery and medical devices. The programme has supported more than 220 scientific projects from over 100 research centres and has helped create 23+ spin-offs, among them the green-hydrogen start-up Jolt, which raised a €6M Series A.
