Food for Joe
Food for Joe is a Barcelona-based foodtech startup making natural, human-grade cooked meals for dogs and cats, with recipes formulated by veterinarians and delivered via subscription (also sold individually online and in physical retail). Co-founded around 2018-2021 by Marçal Icart Pujol and Albane Sabatier Donnadieu, it raised a €1.5M round from business angels and VC funds, after which investor Josep Casas (Naturitas co-founder) became CEO. Revenue reached roughly €5.2M in 2024 with a logistics center in Getafe (Madrid) alongside its Barcelona HQ, and it is projecting ~40% growth for 2026.
