Amelia Virtual Care (formerly Psious, founded 2013/2014 in Barcelona) built a virtual-reality platform for mental health professionals to deliver assessments and interventions for phobias, anxiety, depression and other disorders, with 200,000+ VR sessions delivered. In April 2023 it merged with Boston-based XRHealth to form the largest XR therapeutics platform globally; Amelia operates as "Amelia by XRHealth" rather than as a standalone company.
