Tattoox is a Barcelona-based company building a vertical ecosystem around the tattoo industry. It launched in 2021 as a marketplace nicknamed "the Tinder of tattoos", matching people with their ideal tattoo artist by city, style and budget, and has since pivoted its core business toward Tattoox Academy, an online bootcamp that has trained 5,000+ aspiring tattoo artists, alongside Tattoox Club (booking), an e-commerce shop and a magazine/community. It raised roughly €480k-€600k across two seed rounds (BCombinator plus business angels in Dec 2021, Ona Capital in Jul 2022), reached 1,200+ tattoo artists on the platform, and is also an ENISA-backed company.
