ADParticles (Advanced Dispersed Particles, S.L.) is a Madrid-based 2011 spin-off of Spain's CSIC research council that designs, manufactures and sells nano-free mineral UV filters and pigments for sun care and colour cosmetics under the ADP Cosmetics brand, using its patented CoSmart nanoparticle-dispersion technology. It holds ISO, COSMOS/ECOCERT and FDA compliance credentials, is certified a Spanish 'Pyme Innovadora', and distributes to cosmetics manufacturers in roughly 40 countries. Funding to date is small (public reporting shows about $1-3M raised across two rounds via CDTI's Innvierte program and private investors), consistent with an early-stage B2B deep-science ingredients company rather than a venture mega-round scaleup.
