HHiperbaric
Hiperbaric is a Spanish industrial deeptech manufacturer and the global leader in high-pressure technologies, designing and building HPP (High Pressure Processing) equipment for cold-pasteurising food and beverages, hydrogen compression systems for refuelling stations and sustainable mobility, and HIP (Hot Isostatic Pressing) machines for aerospace, medical and defence components. Founded in 1999 in Burgos by Andrés Hernando, it has installed over half the world's industrial HPP equipment (~65% global market share) across 50+ countries, with offices in Miami, Mexico and Shanghai and around 175-200 employees. It is not a venture-backed startup but a mature, profitable family/management-controlled industrial company (valued at €267M in the January 2023 shareholder restructuring), and it is headquartered in Burgos.
