X1 Wind closed its fourth strategic funding round, led by Grow Ventures (Grow Venture Partners), which takes around 8% of the share capital, alongside the strategic entry of Catalan public investment vehicle Avançsa with a similar stake; the amount was not disclosed and no stage label was given. The round also includes the conversion of instruments previously provided by existing investors Technip Energies, the EIC Fund and CDTI Innvierte, and funds the move from technology validation to commercial deployment of its X100 8.5 MW platform at the PlemCat site in Catalonia, with manufacturing expected in 2027.
