Webtrans, a freight-exchange and supply-chain digitalisation platform founded in 2018 by Mario Taets and Juan Carlos Carrillo, closed its first funding round of €400,000. The platform covers land, sea and air transport with real-time tracking, automated workflows and a fastpayment service that advances invoices within 48 hours, and already works with over 10,000 companies; several parties are described as co-leading, with no single lead.
