Webtrans

Webtrans is a Granada-based logistics technology company that runs a digital platform for managing freight transport by land, sea and air. It serves carriers, from independent owner-operator truckers to large Spanish transport companies, as well as transport agencies and shippers across Europe. Its single operation platform combines a load exchange, a free digital consignment note (eCMR), real-time vehicle tracking, digital paperwork and invoice financing, which advances customer invoice payments within 48 hours through a partnership with Gedesco/Mercado de Facturas. More than 10,000 companies use the platform. Mario Taets and Juan Carlos Carrillo founded Webtrans in 2018, and the company later joined the Ufounders venture-building marketplace. In May 2022 it closed a €400,000 first round with Secways, Brain VC, the IESE alumni investor group Smartup and several business angels.
