Basquevolt — Other

Iberdrola, through its PERSEO programme, took a stake in newly created Basque solid-state battery company Basquevolt, alongside founding shareholders Ezten (Basque Government VC fund), CIE Automotive, Enagás, EIT InnoEnergy and CIC energiGUNE. The amount of the founding equity round was not disclosed; the wider project foresees over €700M of investment to reach 10GWh of cell capacity from 2027.
