Newton Learning, the company behind the Science Bits brand (later renamed Learning Bits S.L.), closed a €2.5M round, its largest up to then, to grow in Spain, Latin America and the US. Athos Capital, Capitana Venture Partners and the Institut Català de Finances co-led it with €500K each, Ona Capital put in €250K, and Smartech Capital and Residencial es Vive took smaller stakes. An earlier Series A, led by VenturCap (which held about 25% by 2018), and a 2015 investment by Javier Faus's MNext impact fund were mentioned but never announced with an amount or date.
