Waynabox closed its second funding round, €1.2M, led by JME Venture Capital. Bankinter Capital Riesgo (through the Fundación Innovación Bankinter Entrepreneurs programme), Media Digital Ventures, Grupo Palladium and Grupo Marjal also took part, and the founders kept a majority stake. The company said it expected about €800K more in public loans (e.g. ENISA), which would bring the total to about €2M. Atresmedia had held a minority stake through media-for-equity since 2015 and took majority control in March 2023.
