Madrid fintech Devengo, founded in 2019, closed a €2M pre-Series A combining debt and equity to scale its API-first account-to-account instant payments infrastructure. Bankinter, Banco Sabadell and Demium came in as the main new backers alongside existing investors TheVentureCity and Wayra, with the money earmarked for SEPA-wide expansion and entry into Mexico, Brazil, the US and the UK.
