Ownmed Innovation, a spin-off of Hospital Gregorio Marañón, Fundación Jiménez Díaz and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, closed a €630K round to develop and clinically validate Ostofix, an anti-reflux ostomy device that replaces conventional ostomy bags. GENESIS Tech Transfer Boost put in €50–60K of the total, with the rest coming from sector and private investors via the Capital Cell platform.
