GENESIS Ventures is a Barcelona-based early-stage venture capital fund managed by the biomedical consultancy GENESIS Biomed and backed by a group of family offices. The €2M fund invests €50,000–100,000 tickets in newly created start-ups and pre-company research projects in biomedicine and biotechnology, covering therapeutics, diagnostics and medical devices, with the aim of taking them to milestones that attract a first venture or corporate round. Launched in 2017, it has built a portfolio of around a dozen companies, including Droplite, ADmit Therapeutics, Aortyx and Oxolife.
