ADmit Therapeutics is a Barcelona-area biotech company, spun off from the Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBELL) in 2017, that develops MAP-AD, a CE-marked in vitro prognostic blood test based on a mitochondrial DNA epigenetic biomarker to predict progression from mild cognitive impairment to Alzheimer's disease dementia. It combines blood biomarkers, genetics, and machine learning, and holds CAP/CLIA accreditation and an AEMPS manufacturing license. It closed a €5.4M Series A round in 2023 led by Clave Capital.
