Gloop, founded in 2021 by Marta Maneja and Hernán Hernández to replace single-use plastic cutlery with edible spoons, stirrers and straws, closed its first round of €540,000 led by impact fund Decelera Ventures alongside IESE business angels and founders including Marc Coloma (Heura), Yago Arbeloa, David Tomás (Cyberclick), Juan Pablo Tejela (Metricool) and José Carlos Cortizo. The total includes a €140,000 ENISA loan.
