Decelera Ventures is a Madrid-based early-stage venture capital fund that calls itself "the world's first startup decelerator", combining a €38M fund with an immersive 7-day founder program in Menorca where founders slow down to refine strategy alongside investors and mentors. It backs mission-driven pre-seed and seed tech companies in Southern Europe — sustainability and impact, enterprise software, consumer, healthtech and deeptech — writing up to €300K upfront, up to €1M cumulatively after the program and up to €2M in follow-ons for top performers. It is managed alongside Sancus Capital Partners (~$2.5B across Europe and LATAM), grew out of the Menorca Millennials program founded by Marcos Martín in 2015, counts PLD Space and Quipu among its portfolio, and launched a separate ~$30M Decelera Americas fund in Mexico in 2025.
