Cocuus is a Spanish foodtech company that develops industrial-scale machinery and processes for producing alternative protein foods, using 2D/3D laser printing, bioprinting and mechatronics to create plant-based, cell-based and hybrid animal/vegetable meat and seafood analogues. Founded in 2017 and based in Pamplona (Navarra), it partnered with Foody's to launch what it describes as the world's first industrial-scale plant-based bioprinting plant, and has raised a Pre-Series A round plus public co-investment grants.
