Heura Foods (legal entity Foods for Tomorrow S.L.) is a Barcelona-based foodtech company that makes Mediterranean-style plant-based meat alternatives — chicken-style chunks, burgers, nuggets, sausages and ham-style slices — sold in over 20,000 points of sale across more than 20 countries. Founded in 2017 by activists Marc Coloma and Bernat Añaños, it is the plant-based meat market leader in Spain and one of the fastest-growing in Europe, positioning itself around clean-label products free of artificial additives. It raised a €40M Series B in February 2024 led by Upfield, followed by a ~€20M European Investment Bank debt facility in 2025, bringing total funding to roughly $100M.
