MOA Foodtech is a Spanish B2B biotech company that combines fermentation with a proprietary AI tool (Albatros) to convert agri-food industry by-products and side streams into next-generation functional ingredients and highly nutritious microbial/yeast proteins, sold as MOA YEAST, MOA Q5 and the turnkey MOA Box valorisation system. Headquartered in Noáin (Navarra) with a team of ~20-25, it closed a €3M Series A in June 2024 led by Dutch fund ICOS Capital, and in February 2025 was one of 71 companies selected by the European Innovation Council for a package of up to €14.8M (€2.3M grant plus a €12.5M equity investment commitment).
