Landatu Solar is a Basque engineering and cleantech company that designs and manufactures patented mounting systems for photovoltaic installations, including water-ballasted ground supports (Landblock), floating solar systems for irrigation ponds and reservoirs (Lamaru) and wind-deflecting racks (Aquarack), plus proprietary software for designing floating solar plants. Founded in March 2022 and headquartered in Etxebarri (Bizkaia, greater Bilbao), it serves agricultural, industrial, residential and utility-scale segments and has expanded internationally with a country manager for Italy. In April 2025 it closed its first institutional round of about €1M led by Suma Capital with Faraday Venture Partners participating.
