Montchis

Montchis is a Madrid-based food company producing premium Basque-style cheesecakes in fresh and frozen ("quinta gama") formats, selling both direct-to-consumer via e-commerce/delivery and B2B to the HORECA channel — it is present in 200+ restaurants and points of sale and works with accounts such as El Corte Inglés and New York Burger. Founded in 2020 during the pandemic by chef Javier Montes and Nacho Sánchez, it sold more than 80,000 cheesecakes in 2024 and closed a €555,000 round led by Faraday Venture Partners in 2025 to scale distribution across Spain and begin internationalization; it was accelerated by Lanzadera and awarded by Netmentora Madrid.
