Picker was a Barcelona-based social commerce app that let users discover, share and buy products recommended by creators, friends and the wider Picker community, monetising via affiliate commissions from more than 2,500 partner brands. Founded in 2018, it raised a €3.4M seed round (€1.3M in 2020 led by btov Partners, extended by €2.1M in 2021 led by Luxor Capital) and reached roughly 1M monthly active users across Spain, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It is no longer operating, having shut down around late 2022/early 2023.
