Pekata is a Barcelona-based corporate gifting platform that lets companies replace traditional Christmas hampers and employee gifts with a personalised choice: the employer sets a budget per person, and each employee builds their own gift from more than 1,000 curated products, experiences and charitable donations. Its own software handles individual orders for hundreds or thousands of employees, and Pekata takes care of branded packaging, personalisation and delivery across Europe. More than 120 corporate clients use it, including CaixaBank, Repsol, Amazon, Volkswagen Financial Services, Cinesa, IQVIA and Adevinta. The company was formed in 2025, when co-founders Roger Rafel, Esteban Humet and Sergio Blasco used their own money to buy the corporate hamper business of Refruiting. In October 2025 it raised a capital increase of more than €0.5M led by Bewater Funds, part of a €1.9M round of equity and debt that also included a €210K ENISA participative loan and €1.1M in bank financing. It closed 2025 with €2.5M in revenue.
