Woom Fertility

Woom Fertility is a Madrid-founded femtech company behind WOOM, an AI-powered ovulation, cycle-tracking and fertility app that analyses 100+ menstrual, biometric and lifestyle parameters to give women daily conception probabilities. Founded in 2015 by Laurence Fontinoy and Clelia Morales (ex-Google and ex-eBay), it grew to roughly 1.8M users and claimed 150k+ pregnancies, ran B2B2C deals with MAPFRE and Ferring Pharmaceuticals, and opened an engineering office in Sofia after its 2020 round led by BrightCap Ventures. Woom was acquired in May 2022 by UK virtual fertility clinic Apricity, which ceased all operations in January 2025 due to financial difficulties.
