Niche Mobility is a Spanish hardware startup that designs and manufactures ADTS® (Automatic Digital Transmission System), a patented digital mid-drive motor for urban e-bikes that replaces mechanical gears with an infinitely variable digital transmission, adding regenerative braking, hill-start assist and a reverse gear. Founded in 2021 and based in Girona (Catalonia), it is a seed-stage deeptech/mobility company that raised ~€400K via a Crowdcube crowdequity campaign in 2023 and closed a €1.6M round in 2025 backed by Copreci and MONDRAGON's promotion fund, ahead of its Eurobike 2025 debut. It is headquartered in Girona and is preparing a further round targeting series production in early 2027.
