Typs was a Barcelona-based fintech, launched in early 2019 out of Nuclio Venture Builder, that offered 'salary on demand' (earned wage access) as a corporate benefit: an app integrated with company payroll systems that let employees withdraw the pay they had already earned before payday. It raised roughly €500K from Spanish seed investors before being acquired in November 2020 by UK earned-wage-access fintech Hastee, after which the brand was retired and the team rebranded as Hastee Spain (legal entity Typs Global S.L. / Hastee Europe S.L., Barcelona), with Typs co-founder Jaime Jiménez becoming Hastee's global CEO. Typs no longer exists as an independent company — hastee.com is the surviving brand, and Hastee itself was acquired by UK HR/payroll group Zellis in June 2025.
