GGenbioma
Genbioma (Genbioma Aplicaciones S.L.) is a Navarra-based biotech company founded in June 2019 as a spin-off of the Public University of Navarra (UPNA) that turns microbiome science into clinically validated probiotic and postbiotic ingredients for metabolic health. Its lead product, the postbiotic pA1c®HI (based on the proprietary Pediococcus acidilactici pA1c® strain), targets glucose control, pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes and is backed by 11+ preclinical studies, two human clinical trials and two patent families. The company raised a €525,000 seed round in February 2025 from Clave Capital (via its UN I+D+i Tech Transfer and Navarra Tech Transfer funds) and the WA4STEAM women's angel network, and was named most innovative startup of Navarra at the EmprendeXXI Awards. It is headquartered in Noáin/Pamplona (Navarra).
