PPetkis
Petkis is a Navarre-based pet food company that manufactures and sells premium BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) menus for dogs and cats — ultra-frozen raw meat, bagged and cut into cubes for easy daily feeding, with no additives or preservatives. Founded in 2017 as a micro-cooperative (PETKIS Sociedad Micro Cooperativa) in Beriáin, Navarra, it sells direct-to-consumer online and through a retail network, and also offers B2B manufacturing and private-label production; its catalogue spans 25+ products across beef, lamb, duck, chicken and horse. It received a €25,000 participatory loan from SODENA, the Navarre regional government's development company, to consolidate its commercial network and fit out new facilities. It has no venture-capital backing.
