Zazume is a Barcelona-based proptech SaaS platform that digitises the entire residential rental lifecycle — tenant search, viewings, contracts, guaranteed rent, non-payment insurance and ongoing property management — in a single integrated system used by landlords, tenants and real estate agents. Founded in 2021 by former Airbnb EMEA managing director Jeroen Merchiers and serial founder Guillermo Ceballos, it raised a €2.5M round in June 2026 led by Nordstar and GTV Capital, bringing total funding to about €7.8M. The company manages roughly 3,500 rental assets, has guaranteed over €40M in rental income to owners, reached break-even before the round, and is remote-first with offices in Barcelona and Madrid — Madrid being its largest market.
