POPULIT is a Madrid-based social dining platform that seats strangers together at tables of 3 to 6 people in partner restaurants so they can meet new people around themed gastronomic experiences (singles nights, TV/music themes, language exchange, dinner + escape room combos). It runs a B2B2C model, charging users a small booking fee (roughly €7-9) while restaurants gain footfall, and operates in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia with 9,000+ registered users and a team of around 6. In 2025 it closed a €300,000 pre-seed round made up of €160,000 from friends, family and business angels plus a €140,000 ENISA participative loan, earmarked for building out its mobile app and recommendation engine.
