Burger Index is an AI-powered data platform that automates the extraction, matching and visualisation of online food & beverage data, describing itself as "the answer engine for online F&B data" — pulling store, product, pricing and promotion data from delivery apps, grocery services and restaurant platforms into a queryable database available via chat, dashboards, API and S3. It sells competitive and market intelligence to aggregators, grocery retailers, food brands, distributors and restaurant groups, with reported customers including McDonald's, Nestlé, Unilever, Ferrero and Kitopi. Founded by two IE Business School MBA classmates in Madrid, it operates across Europe, the GCC and Latin America with offices in Madrid and Abu Dhabi, and raised a $1.3M seed round led by Flat6Labs in March 2023.
