Let's Cook

Let's Cook is a Barcelona-based foodtech company that sells meal kits by weekly subscription. Each kit contains fresh, locally sourced ingredients in exact quantities plus recipes for dinners that take about 30 minutes to cook, and it reuses glass jars through a return-and-sterilise system to cut packaging waste and food waste. The company was founded at the end of 2018 by Gustav Johansson and Nicolás Escasany, later joined by Santiago Castiella. It launched its MVP in 2019 and opened its own operations centre in 2020, when it became the largest meal-kit provider in Spain. Let's Cook has been through the Lanzadera accelerator, won Best Innovation Startup at FTalks in 2022, and in 2023 was selected for Grupo Eroski's first open innovation programme. It was bootstrapped with a €50,000 ENISA loan, then in October 2023 closed a €280,000 round from business angels with ENISA support.
