Alterschool

Alterschool is a Madrid-based online school for the vacation rental and tourism sector, offering Spanish-language programmes such as Emprendetur Tech, Vacation Rental Growth and Revenue for Pros. Its courses are taught live and on demand by practitioners from companies including Airbnb, Booking.com, Vacasa and Marriott International, and it is the official school of the Spanish Federation of Tourist Housing (FEVITUR). Founded in 2021 by Chema and Patricia González, the founders of Alterhome, together with Hostmaker founder Nakul Sharma, it has trained more than 1,500 students across Spain and Latin America. In 2022 it raised a €1.7 million round led by Eneko Knörr, with participation from its founders, minority investors and employees. In April 2025 it was acquired by the property management company Alterhome.
