CodeOp

CodeOp is a Barcelona-based international tech school for women, trans and non-binary people (women+). It runs full-time and part-time bootcamps in full-stack web development, data science, data analytics and artificial intelligence, on campus and remotely, and partners with governments, NGOs and companies on technical training. Its students have come from more than 70 countries. Katrina Walker founded the company in Barcelona in 2018. It raised a €320k seed round from business angels, including Gabriel Herrero-Beaumont and Heiko Rauch, in 2019. It then closed a €1.25M round led by Ship2B Ventures, with Desigual founder Thomas Meyer and Heiko Rauch taking part and €250k in venture debt from Banco Sabadell.
